Shabbat Shalom!
Although our synagogue doors our closed, our community is close and active as ever - thanks to the wonders of modern technology and the innovative efforts of our staff and members. Over the past six weeks, we have held
more than 72 Zoom minyanim - morning and afternoon, every weekday. The live
Passover Seder and
Yizkor service were widely "attended." We have found new ways to learn, pray, socialize, and grow together.
Please tune in to any of our
daily services at 8:30 a.m. (9:00 on Sundays) and 6:30 p.m.

For our youth,
Adrienne Suson and
Nate Orlowek have been leading weekly online get togethers and classes for younger and older children.
I am most excited about our Adult Learning opportunities and I will highlight just a few of our weekday adult classes:
Naomi Kawin is teaching
Hebrew Reading for Beginners on
Tuesdays at 7pm.
My weekly class,
Socially Distant or Spiritually Closer, is held every
Wednesday at 6pm, before the afternoon service. We are currently delving into understanding the structure of the prayerbook, history of the prayers, and the templates for each of the daily services.
Kol Hakavod to
Shamai Leibowitz and
Niv Leibowitz for facilitating our first public Torah reading in seven weeks! Please tune in on
Thursdays at 6pm, before the afternoon service, for a live Torah reading and Parasha discussion.

Jack Katz,
Aaron Leibel, and
Isaac Gendelman as they were called to the Torah yesterday.
I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. Wishing you a peaceful and restful Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Suson
