Support Israel

For many of us, watching the scenes of horrifying violence and trauma emerging from Israel has awakened an impulse to help or give to the sweeping aid effort underway now.

We’ve rounded up some of the needs that nonprofits and individuals have shared, as well as organizations working to address them.

Support Victims of Terror of Kibbutz Kfar Azza
Kibbutz Kfar Azza was one of the first to be breached on October 7th, 2023.
Hamas militants came with just one mission: to kill more and more people. They decapitated women, children, and men.
The residents who survived the evacuees are staying in hospitality hotels in the center, it is not yet clear when they will be able to return to their homes.
The fund will help the surviving members to plan the rehabilitation process of the kibbutz and its members.

Support Victims of Terror of Kibbutz Nir Oz
Residents of Kibbutz Nir Oz in Israel underwent a horrific massacre in the early morning hours of October 7th, 2023. Their houses and vehicles were burned down by Hamas militants while the families hid trying to stay silent.
Dozens were murdered, suffocated by smoke or kidnapped to the Gaza Strip. Dozens are still missing.
The survivors are being evacuated for an unknown amount of time. Their vehicles were burnt and many houses were destroyed to the ground. Any donation will be helpful.

Support HTAA members with family in Israel and family serving the IDF
Many members of our community have family in Israel and children and siblings who are serving in the IDF.  Reach out to them, check in on them, let them know that you support them and that you are here for them. If you hear of someone in our community who is struggling, please let us know.

Support Israel Hospitals
Israeli hospitals are dealing with a surge of wounded patients, and some have been damaged by rockets or in fighting. Many depend on donations even in normal conditions, making the need more acute now.
Barzilai Hospital in the south sustained rocket fire while serving patients. Over the past few days, it has been inundated with more than 450 victims being brought in.

Hadassah hospital is treating victims of the attacks, including many soldiers, and launched a crisis campaign to raise needed funds.

Soroka Medical Center has already treated 700 severely wounded victims and the center is seeking Donations for its emergency fund to ensure the acquisition of essential medical equipment.
