Summary |
Based on the surveys we received over the summer, we expect that this will be the most popular option. We will have a password-protected High Holiday Zoom-link available to view the livestream broadcast taking place in the Sarah Lechter Hall. The link and password are unique to the High Holidays (i.e. it is NOT the same ones we use for weekday services and other events). In order to receive this unique link and password you must complete the following:
- Sign up with HTAA using the form on our webpage: www.htaa.org/highholidays
- MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED IN!
- Check all answers that apply to your family (even if they’re free!)
- Check your email when you’re done, to ensure you’ve received a confirmation with your completed form.
- Call the office and press “3” to speak with Emily, if you are in need of assistance with the form or have any questions.
Remember.. All High Holiday services will take place in the unique High Holiday Zoom room. All other minyaim and services will take place in the HTAA shul Zoom room. - The Zoom Link will be sent to you by September 15th.
- If you have not received the link by then, please call the office and press “3” to speak with Emily.
- If you have not used Zoom in the past, please install Zoom on your computer or device BEFORE the High Holidays.
- Click here for our Zoom Help.
- Try accessing our virtual shul room to make sure your device works. (NOTE: This is a test using our weekday link and not the actual link for High Holidays).
- ON THE DAY OF THE SERVICE, log into our High Holiday Zoom Link (provided in your email by September 15th) at least 5 minutes prior to service times.
- You will be able to see the bimah and clergy. We will not be able to see you, because your camera has been disabled by us.
- You will be able to hear the services but we will not be able to hear you.
- YOUR microphone and camera will be TURNED OFF by us to minimize background noise.
- It is important to check your Zoom capabilities before the event. No one will be available to assist you during service hours or during the Holiday. Please take a moment before the Holiday to ensure you can join us virtually.
