OPTION 1: IN-PERSON SERVICES INSIDE THE SARAH LECHTER WITH A MINYAN

 In order to join us for in-person services, you must adhere to the following guidelines to attend:

  1. Must answer the Health Questionnaire provided.
  2. Must agree to wear a mask (covering chin, mouth, & nose) while on HTAA property and inside the building. 
  3. Must maintain physical distancing while on HTAA property and inside the building. 
  4. Must use hand sanitizer upon entry and exiting the building. 
  5. There is no use of the coat closets. All belongings are to be kept with you at all times,
    1. This includes: coats, hats, purses, prayer books, and bags. Please take all items with you when exiting the room. Do not leave any items behind. We need to minimize our cleaning staff’s exposure.
  6. Please refrain from touching/kissing mezuzot, Torahs, and other ritual items.
    Avoid touching surfaces unnecessarily.
  7. Must go directly to your assigned seats and stay in them throughout the service. 
  8. No one is permitted on the bimah except for the clergy. If you are given an Aliyah, please stand and remain at your assigned seat. 
  9. If you sign up to come for Rosh Hashanah services you agree to stay for the entire duration of services on both days (arriving on time and staying through the end). This is important to ensure that we can maintain a minyan throughout.
    1. Mandatory IN-PERSON attendance:
      1. Saturday, Sept. 19 10am-12:30pm
      2. Sunday, Sept. 20 10am-12:30pm
    2. Optional IN-PERSON attendance:
      Friday Sept. 18 6:30pm-8:30pm 
  10. If you sign up to come for YOM KIPPUR services you agree to stay for the entire duration of services (arriving on time and staying through the end). 
    1. Mandatory IN-PERSON attendance:
      1. Kol Nidre Sunday, Sept. 27 6:45pm-8:30pm
      2. Monday, Sept. 28 10am-12:30pm
      3. Monday evening, Sept 28 5:30pm-7:30pm
        1. Monday evening includes: Yizkor, Mincha, Neilah & Final Shofar Blast: 
        2. Everyone signing up for Yom Kippur is required to attend yizkor services. We must have a minyan present.
  11. Bathrooms are located downstairs and are not handicap accessible for inside attendees. 
  12. To sign up for ALL MANDATORY IN-PERSON SERVICES:
    1. Call the office, select option 3 to speak to Emily. Let her know specifically which service you want to attend: Rosh Hashanah and/or Yom Kippur.
    2. If you would like to put your name on our waiting list, you must be willing and able to show up on short notice, if someone is unable to make a minyan for any reason. 
    3. Service admittance will be based on several factors: 
      1. Passing the Health Questionnaire.
      2. Willingness to adhere to rules.
      3. First-to sign-up/First Dibs
      4. Seating availability / room configuration.
    4. If you need to cancel your registration, please call the office and press “3” to speak directly to Emily. DO NOT LEAVE A VOICEMAIL!! Notify us no later than:
      1. for Rosh Hashanah: FRIDAY, Sept 18th at NOON 
      2. for Yom KippurSUNDAY, September 27th between 9am and NOON
    5. We will make every effort to call the families listed on the waiting list, in the order of priority, to fill open spaces. 

      You must register for in-person minyanim on htaa.org or by calling the office/emailing. Attendance will be limited to 10 families and there will be a waitlist on a first come first served basis. We will let people know once registration closes who was in the first 10 families.
