HIGH HOLIDAY APPEAL

The start of a New Year is an important moment to pledge ourselves to the causes that are most important to us. As a focal point for our congregation and community, HTAA should be at the top of the list. We are experiencing exciting changes with a renovation of our building and a replenishment of our endowment, through the sale of land. We achieved these goals without reaching out to you for a capital appeal. However, we need your High Holiday pledges to help meet our budgeted goals and avoid draining our endowment for operational expenses. This year, many of our congregants have been affected by unexpected hardships such as the loss of federal jobs and some of our income sources, such as Bingo, have been on hold to allow for the renovation. We truly need your help to balance our resources and needs.

The High Holiday appeal begins now and we ask that those of you with the means please consider a high pledge to help us through this exciting but challenging transition. Your charitable High Holiday appeal pledge can make a significant impact on our financial health in the coming year and will help our entire congregation benefit from your generosity. Tzedakah and charitable support to a synagogue are such important mitzvot and we appreciate anything you are able to contribute to launch us all into a wonderful 5786.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
