Upcoming Sessions

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM2. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 • 20 Shevat 5781
5:30 PM - 6:30 PMThe outgoing U.S. administration was highly popular among Israelis and highly unpopular among American Jews. The incoming administration will be starkly different in many ways. What about vis a vis Israel? What about vis a vis those domestic issues that specially affect American Jews? Will the succession of Donald Trump by Joe Biden restore the chilliness between Washington and Jerusalem of the Obama years? Will it renew the Israel-Palestinian peace process? Will it continue peace building between Israel and the Sunni Arabs? Will it resurrect the Iran nuclear deal? Domestically, will it tamp down the ultra-right groups that many see as nurturing anti-Semitism and sometimes violence. Will it encourage quota systems that disadvantage Jews? Well-known and well-respected scholar and author Joshua Muravchik will discuss the new administration during a two-part series
