Montgomery County will be hosting its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 18, 2016. During this Day of Service we have over 3,000 volunteers who come out to participate in community service projects that help individuals, children, families in the county, as well as international organizations serving those in need. It is during this day, volunteers and organizations will collaborate to make care packages, make appreciation cards for military troops, prepare dry food packages for families, create pet collars for animal shelters, sort and organize coats, and many more community service projects that adds value to those in need in Montgomery County.
